Today, the House will continue consideration on what could only be called socialism alive in America. Washington is working on a bailout which would bring it in control of portions of companies, much like Chavez now has in Venezuela. Their plan is to take our hard earned tax dollars, and pay out to companies that the government's policies corrupted and turned downward through bad loans and bad choices. Nonsense!

If the companies fail, let them. The market lost 777 points when the House did the right thing, and voted against supporting rich fat cats. The next day, the market corrected itself around 500 points the next day, just to go down and up and down and up. This is the nature of the markets. It is not a financial catastrophe. It is capitalism at work, and it is working without the US government trying to control the businesses. Shame on you, Mr. President for trying to use your powers to bring forth socialism!

This is socialism, plain and simple, and if any member of my district choose to vote for this, just as I am planning to do with both Senators, I will rally for them to no longer be elected. Socialism has no place in government. We do not need to save big business. We need to save our people, not the corporations. Shame on all who support this communism at work. Shame!
